China and Africa are experiencing active economic development and increasingly close economic and trade cooperation. More and more "made in China" are entering the African market, promoting local economic and social development and improving people's livelihoods.

     "Made in China" infrastructure projects have attracted strong attention. At the opening ceremony of the 34th African Football Cup of Nations held on January 13, 2024, a model of the Cote d'Ivoire economic capital Abidjan Cocodi cable-stayed bridge, built by a Chinese company, made a brilliant appearance and won applause from the audience. It is understood that the Kokodi Bridge is the largest cable-stayed bridge in West Africa, with a total length of 630 meters. After opening, it effectively alleviates traffic congestion in Abidjan city and significantly enhances the urban landscape image of Abidjan. The bridge has become a landmark building in Abidjan. In August 2023, Ivorian President Ouattara stated at the completion ceremony of the bridge that this high-quality project has made the Ivorian people deeply proud. In addition, the opening and operation of a number of iconic projects such as the Kenya Mombasa Railway, the Zambian Lower Kaifu Gorge Hydropower Station, and the Nigeria Leki Deepwater Port have made positive contributions to improving the level of infrastructure in Africa, accelerating the process of interconnection and integration, and promoting the economy and people's livelihoods.

     Made in China helps Africa transition towards green energy. At the end of 2023, the main line connection ceremony of the Dakar Rapid Transit System project was held in the capital of Senegal, Dakar. More than 120 18 meter articulated pure electric buses put into operation were developed and produced by China CRRC Electric Corporation. The vehicle has a beautiful appearance and is equipped with the Senegal national flag in three colors: green, yellow, and red. The interior space of the carriage is large, with a total of 55 seats, a maximum passenger capacity of 150 people, and a range of up to 250 kilometers. It also has good anti-corrosion properties that can adapt to the local sandy and humid climate conditions. The use of this batch of vehicles will reduce local carbon emissions, which is of great significance for the development of green public transportation in Dakar.

     Chinese construction machinery is popular in Africa. In recent years, with the continuous deepening of China Africa economic and trade cooperation, domestic high-performance engineering machinery and basic equipment enterprises have accelerated their overseas expansion. Behind the steady progress of "super" projects such as the Alaman New City ultra-high complex project in Egypt, the Algerian East West Expressway, and the Swak Dam in Kenya, the support of excellent products produced by Chinese engineering machinery enterprises such as Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion Heavy Industry, and Hunan Steel is indispensable. Cost performance and applicability are the prominent advantages of Chinese construction machinery products in Africa's popularity. On the one hand, Chinese machinery has reasonable prices, stable performance, simple operation, and convenient maintenance. On the other hand, Chinese construction machinery enterprises provide customized products for high temperature weather, complex terrain, and special scenes in Africa, improving construction efficiency and winning the African market with excellent strength and good reputation.
