Data shows that the development index of small and medium-sized enterprises in China increased significantly by 1.3 points in the first quarter of this year,
decreased by 0.3 points in the second quarter, and increased again by 0.2 points in the third quarter to 89.2.
Xie Ji, Secretary General of the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises: With the introduction of a series of policy combinations and the continuous manifestation of their effects,
the index returned to the upward range in the third quarter. 89.2 is higher than the same period in 2022 and close to the highest level in two years.
In the sub index, the macroeconomic sentiment index, which reflects corporate confidence, rose by 0.5 points, with the largest increase, indicating that with a series of stable growth,
confidence enhancement, and risk prevention policy combinations continuously showing their effectiveness, private enterprise development confidence has been strongly boosted.
In addition, the investment index and market index have also rebounded significantly. Among the 8 industries surveyed, the investment index of 5 industries has increased, indicating
an increase in corporate investment willingness and a gradual recovery in market expectations. In the sub industry index, the industrial index rose by 0.4 points, with the largest increase.
The survey conducted by the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises also showed that the operating conditions of small and medium-sized enterprises improved in the third quarter,
with an increase in the proportion of fully operating enterprises.
Xie Ji, Secretary General of the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises: At the end of the third quarter, 54% of enterprises had a construction rate of over 75%, among which enterprises
that had fully started construction increased by 4.25 percentage points compared to the end of the second quarter.
